Talking through colour correction and light sources

JUN2013 - CARRIER-media is happy to continue supporting Reelscape Films Limited and Making Cookies Limited with the build and maintenance of the Fortune Cookies website and their ongoing workshop program at Northampton Academy. I’m keen to support the Learning, Literacy and Livelihood goals of the program and have enjoyed the part I’ve been able to play in working with these young and enthusiastic students.

Talking through the spot/flood adjustment of a back light

JUN2013 – Talking about the fine tuning of lights between the wide and close up. It’s been interesting talking to young people and getting a sense of their view of the industry, as well as giving them an overview of the roles within the Electrical Department and some aspects Location Lighting.

Within the group the script was analysed and broken down, with students blocking through the scene. We then discussed the effect of bringing a camera into the equation and this included making some large changes to the action to accommodate camera and the actual location.

I look forward to continuing to work with Reelscape Films on this project.

JUL2013 - “The shooting of the teaser was supported by longstanding partner CARRIER-media as well as Panavision, Panalux, Island Studios, Totom Construction, Audiolink, and Hoo Hing supermarkets” (Becky, Reelscape Films).

JUL2013 – The above videos were screened at a www.northantsfilmnetwork.co.uk on the 09JUL2013 to an audience of invited guests followed by a Q&A with the Producer Becky Adams of www.reelscapefilms.co.uk at the www.errolflynnfilmhouse.com cinema in Northampton.
